  • JDA Architects & Planners  Inc./1995-2011
    Principal and founder of a multidisciplinary design firm focused on mixed-use, housing,  and hospitality projects. Projects range from single-family residential to apartment complexes, condominium communities, aquatics and recreational facilities, and urban design and planning for towns and cities. Responsible for all aspects of design and management of the firm and its six employees.

 

  • Northwest Pacific Partners Inc. /2001-2010
    President and Managing Partner of a residential development firm which built two detached condominium projects in Portland, Oregon. Responsible for managing all aspects of design, including pre-development financing, entitlements, and construction phase services. Also managed development entity with 20 employees to construct projects, including all subconsultant and subcontractor supervision, quality control, bank financing, and sales.

 

  •  JDA Architects/LRS Architects JV/1996-1998
    Project Architect and Manager on several assisted living facilities in joint venture with another Portland firm. Performed all design, documentation and project management of employees and consultant team. Performed all duties during construction as Supervising Architect.

 

  • HMA Architects/1994-1996
    Project Architect and Manager on several large hospitality and planned community projects in the Pacific Northwest and Michigan. Performed all design, documentation and project management of employees and consultant team. Performed all duties during construction as Supervising Architect.

 

  • Robert Lamb Hart Architects and Planners/1991-1994
    Job Captain and Architect responsible for design and project documentation on several large resorts and planned community projects for clients such as Pacific Union Corporation, Mitsubishi Corp., Richland Properties, Misawa Homes of America, and the Wente Bros. Vineyards.
